Save the Bees – Hucknall

Bees are in peril from toxic chemicals and need our support.

XR Newark and Sherwood are organising this action and would love for you to be involved.

This is an inclusive family-friendly rally on Saturday 2nd September @ 11 AM taking our demand to end the use of neonicotinoids to the heart of Mark Spencer’s constituency in Hucknall.

Mark Spencer MP works for DEFRA, he is Minister for Food, Farming and Fisheries and is responsible for authorising the use of these pesticides.

Lots of ways to get involved on the day:

• By joining our march, holding flowers for the die
• Outreach: conversations and handing out leaflets
• Adding your voice to the choir (some words will be available)
• Stewarding and someone willing to stay with the sound system while we march.

PLUS – take action RIGHT NOW by signing the petition to require MPs to vote on any emergency authorisations of bee-killing pesticides.
