Our three demands: Tell the Truth, Act Now…
… and XR’s 3rd demand is that the government must create and be led by a Citizens’ Assembly on Climate and Ecological Justice.

Our political system is still broken. Democracy does not deliver power to the people. The majority of decisions made on the benches in the House of Commons or in MP’s chambers are dictated and determined by the holders of the wealth in our economic system.

The need and opportunity of Citizens’ Assemblies as a way to upgrade our democracy, was a message we took to Windsor last summer. 

We will also be getting involved with a proposed climate assembly in Nottingham.
