Community Building Workshop

For anyone in the climate/nature/sustainability activism space to learn more about community building.

Our rebel friends from Extinction Rebellion UK’s Community Building team are bringing their new workshop to Nottingham.

In a world where those with power are not meeting our basic needs and in many cases working against them, why not do it ourselves! Nothing scares them more than us not being dependent on them!

Let’s resist the politics of division.
We have the tools. We have the skills.

Instead of conforming to the systems that keep us isolated – let’s build our power together.

• What does it mean to meet our own needs as an active thriving community?
• How you do you foster curiosity, connection and resilience where you live?
• Why is this important to create system change in the face of climate and ecological breakdown?

We’ll use a variety of tools and activities to explore our connections, strengths and opportunities with each other, our wider networks and communities.

Workshop maximum 25 attendees.
Room is on ground floor – accessible from street level, with accessible toilet.
Hot drinks and snacks provided.
Tickets  £2 / £4.50
