The media and messaging group is tasked with engaging with media and press in the local area to build good relationships. We endevour to broadcast our actions and events in local and national media as well as online. We aim to create a cohesive narrative across the region and with the national work.
We are looking to build this team so if you have skills regarding web design, SEO, social media, press/media/copywriting experience, photography, videography, blogging etc – please email us.
We provide content for website, facebook page, twitter, instagram and traditional media. Also we have a group of spokespeople for press interviews.
We are responsible for producing photographs and videos of our events and actions.
We offer support for outreach to drive recruitment, to actions both before, during and post action, and also to all other working groups when required.
There is overlap with the Support group. But to clarify a little, they are responsible for internal communications via website, facebook, telegram, signal chats. They are also responsible for technical support e.g. website backend and SEO.
