We need\, he argues\, to force fossil fuel extraction to stop–with our actions\, with our bodies\, and by defusing and destroying its tools. We need\, in short\, to start blowing up some oil pipelines. \nOffering a counter-history of how mass popular change has occurred\, from the democratic revolutions overthrowing dictators to the movement against apartheid and for women’s suffrage\, Malm argues that the strategic acceptance of property destruction and violence has been the only route for revolutionary change. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the biggest\, brightest most biodiverse nature themed event of the year! \nAll general information about the event and how to get involved is on the Restore Nature Now website \nNottingham will be in the ‘Air’ block. See website above for details of route\, march blocks etc.\nWe should have a big pale bluey/green flag with ‘XRNottm’ on it\, come and find us. There will be lots of flags and banners to hold\, so don’t worry about just hopping on a train and bus and joining us – no preparation required. Just bring some food and water.\n\nInfo for people with tickets for our coaches (which are sold out now)\nMeet from 7am onwards on Station Street\, at the end further away from Nottingham railway station. We’ll have flags so you can spot us. We will be boarding coaches from 7.20am and leaving promptly at 7.30am. Please don’t be late. \nThere will be two coaches:\nCoach 1 : family friendly\nCoach 2 : general \nArrive in London in good time for the midday start of the event.\nLeave London at 6pm from Embankment – the precise location will be shared in the WhatApp chat (if you’ve not joined this already you will be able to do so on the coach) \nArrive back in Nottingham as soon as we can!

DESCRIPTION:Join Nottingham Critical Mass for a ride to celebrate Spring and the whole of Nature. \nDecorate yourself and your bike with everything green and colourful if you can. As always the more the merrier.\nThis is a group ride and is kept as safe as possible. Suitable for adult riders.\n\nMeet from 6.45 pm at the bike racks near The Bell for a 7 o’clock start.\nThis is a chance to join up with the Nottingham Critical Mass group who ride every month to promote cycling and active travel in the city with a joyous and musical ride through the city centre.
