DESCRIPTION:A multiple location\, multiple activity action on Saturday January 27th on the topic of air pollution. \nStarting with a procession – meeting at 10.30am at Nottingham train station – near front entrance.  \nWe will leave the station at 10.45am and march to Market Square.\nFamilies welcome. \nOnce in the Market square (approx 11.15am) there will be a collective action. \n\nWe will display the placards to the public with messages of why air pollution is bad and on the reverse all the benefits of having cleaner air.\nWe will also have a display of gravestones to symbolise deaths from air pollution with names and the cause of death – the names are not real but the causes of death are.\n\nEvent will end at midday to be followed by a debrief. \nThings you can do right now: \n– Put this date in your diary and encourage family and friends to join you too. \n– Register your interest in volunteering here – and we’ll send you the zoom links for two briefings (on Tue 23rd 7pm and Wed 24th 8pm) too:\nhttps://actionnetwork.org/forms/volunteer-for-sat27th/ \n– If you use Facebook:\nGo to the event here and click ‘going’ and use the INVITE button to invite Facebook friends. \n– You could also help by contributing a small amount to our Air Pollution crowdfunder (to help with costs of flyers and other materials)
