March 22 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pmFree
This is non-violent direct action training. An absolute must for all intending to take part in actions – whether you consider yourself arrestable or not!
Training will be from 2-5pm, but you can arrive any time from 1pm for either just a hot drink and a chat – or feel free to bring your lunch with you too.
This free training will cover the theory and practice of non-violent techniques. You will be shown how to de-escalate tense situations, how to interact with the police, what to do if you get arrested and much more.
This training is valuable if you consider yourself non-arrestable, but still want to join in actions. You will be made aware of the legalities of protesting and also then be able to support the rebels that are putting themselves in a higher risk situation.
Join us to learn about Non-Violent Direct Action (NVDA) and practice some techniques in a safe environment.
Hot drinks provided, please bring vegan food to share.
This event is free but donations are requested to cover room hire.
Tickets not essential, but to help us predict numbers please click on the Eventbrite ticket link to register your place.
