Divest from Fossil Fuels – Demonstration

Join Nottingham Coalition for Climate Justice in the Market Square to make it loud and clear that Nottingham wants to #DivestfromCrisis.

There will be an attention-grabbing demonstration where fossil fuels and renewables have a tug of war, to get the attention of those with the power to do what is right!

Investment in fossil fuels in unreliable and unethical – it has a high cost for both our finances and our planet – yet Nottingham County Council still invests your pension into companies like Shell, who make record profits while many can’t afford to heat their homes.

Be part of a national day of action and send a message to those in power that your pension should not be invested in fossil fuels.
