At this time of year there is increased pressure on people to consume, but are people really connecting with the fact that we cannot afford to consume like we have in the past if we want a living planet for our kids and future generations?

We’re asking people to envision a society and a festive period where we enjoy the simple things and connect with each other without all the ‘stuff’ that promises to make us happy, but leaves many feeling stressed and hollow. We’re inviting the public to come and enjoy a bit of free cake and tell us what they think about COP26, the future of the planet, consumerism and the festive period in a climate emergency.

Come and join us! You don’t have to be an expert about the climate emergency, just be clear about what worries you personally about it, what sort of future you can imagine when we have come together to tackle it. And be prepared to listen to people’s thoughts.

We’ll have cake, sign up sheets, flags; all we need is Rebels!
